The client came with a request to make a minimalistic website. Her positioning: Community producer, boutique events. Organising private events in Istanbul. Does not work with everyone.
About Client
Alena has led projects in video production and in a large branding agency. She organised private tours to Turkey and Japan. Alena’s work background: opening, building, launching and promoting fine dining establishments, organising concerts, film festivals, conferences, developing brand strategies and brand management.
The challenge
We wanted to display a more boutique vibe, but without the glamour. It was important to add a bit of rebellion to the minimalism to reflect Alena’s personality. The target audience is HR, CEOs, top managers of large companies.
Solution
All competitors had impersonal template sites, so I suggested combining modern visuals to stand out amongst the monotonous sites + backing up the visuals with meaning in the texts: succinct, unconventional, humorous.
It was important to make the user want to go to the end and get to know the specialist better. In other words, the site will become an extension of Alena, through the visuals and texts the personality will be read, which we achieved
Visual elements
As a visual concept, we chose minimalism with the addition of graphic shapes — rectangles, circles, squares, and a red accent colour.
