Designing a multi-page website for a veterinarian, an expert in ultrasound to sell specialist training. The client came to me after a bad experience with previous designers, so we did a complete redesign.
About client
Tanya Borovikova is a veterinary surgeon specialising in small pet ultrasonography and therapy from Kazakhstan. Her team already numbers more than 30 people, working according to the principles of evidence-based medicine and pet friendly approach.
The challenge
To make a complete redesign of the website, before that only a version for mobile devices was implemented. It is important that the site should be intuitive, easy to digest information, but with elements of the expert’s corporate style and reference to cinematic elements
Moodboard
At the moodboard stage, it was decided to use the following visual techniques:
film elements
minimalism
learning visualisation
Concept
Based on the prepared presentation of the moodboard, I made several concepts to give the client’s choices.
Solution
The client liked all the concepts, but we decided to combine the two options and still go for full minimalism without extra elements.
Tatiana's comment after design approval
Visual elements
Tatiana has quite a lot of directions in her educational activities, so we decided to design all products neatly and uncluttered, so that the user could easily find exactly what he needs.
Visual elements
I also framed the reviews as a film to give a cinematic feel, as well as to support the whole style of the site.
